This building was operated as an extended stay hotel for decades and housed such famous guests Frida Kahlo, Diego Rivera, Bob Hope, Gracie Allen, and George Burns. It was converted into apartments in the 70's and then into condos in the early 2000's Much of the original architecture is intact in teh main lobby and residence levels. Condos include efficiency, one bedroom and 2 bedroom units.

Two of the things that people love the most about the building are the rooftop terrace that has extraordinary views to downtown Detroit - AND this happens to be the starting location for the Thanksgiving Day Parade - so it becomes a hub of activity and fun at the holiday season.
